What is Social responsibility in business ?

It is a form of self-regulation of companies, in which the company ensures that its operations are economically, socially and environmentally sustainable, seeking the preservation of the environment and the quality of life of its employees.

As consumers we are interested in being informed about the characteristics of an (CSR), its evaluation is divided into four areas:

  • Quality of life in the company, companies must support and respect the fulfillment of workers' rights.

  • Business ethics, have mechanisms that ensure equal treatment to all its shareholders, large or small, as well as to interested third parties, supported by a good corporate governance system.

  • Linking the company with the community, supporting causes such as development of educational initiatives, free medical consultations, support for indigenous communities, conservation of endangered species.

  • Care and preservation of the environment, a preventive approach that favors the environment should be maintained and work on initiatives for the development of environmentally friendly technologies.
